For me personally, the Jubilees are the most beautiful locomotives ever built.
They became the standard LMS mid range express passenger locomotive with 191 being built, far more than any other LMS express locomotive type built.
The Jubilees saw use on the cross country routes and the Midland line out of St.Pancras. Thankfully four survive in preservation.
